Paula Richins, Diane Penrod, Emily Eliason, Me, Kindra Ried, Rachel Hill, Marianne Cowley, Winnie Winward, Paula Jorgenson - 1st Grade Team at Harvest Elementary School
Now that we are all moved in and settled somewhat in our new place, I thought I could take some time to update my blog. This post is dedicated to the wonderful 8 first grade teachers and all of the staff at Harvest Elementary School! I am so grateful I had the opportunity to work there and with everyone that made it the best Elementary School and 1st grade experience EVER! Love you! Most of these pictures are from our last day of school dinner at Chuck-a-Rama!
Leave it to our team to go out of the way to recognize those of us on our team that are leaving - in a very, "creative" way! They put together a puzzle with all the different "pieces" representing all that Annette did as part of the Reading Recovery program for 1st grade. She did wonderful things with our special little readers! I'll miss working with her! You'll notice each time we said "piece" Jorgenson made sure we "quoted" it!
Then they put me up on a chair and made me wear the many "hats" representing our friendship, teaming and "partying". I have the cards buried in my classroom stuff that is still packed up. I do remember they pointed out the hat of wife, Mom, Pampered Chef consultant, Mary Kay discount giver, Glitter Toes and Shoe Party girl and of course teacher! It was so cute - thank you so much - it was good the hat covered my eyes so you didn't see how I teared up. You guys are amazing!
Also, the last picture is for Winnie - yes, she did have 3 plates of ice cream - she deserved it after all the oatmeal and bowls of veggies she ate all year at lunch time!
Love you guys!! Keep in touch!

YOU are amazing! So glad that we got to work together before you up and left Happy Valley. I hope all your dreams come true. Love you! P.S. Yes, I still have your plate. OOPS! Call me when your back down and I'll run it to you. Sorry, I won't be traveling through Wyoming anytime soon. :)
You will surely be missed! It won't be the same. Good luck with everything this next year. You are brave to tackle 5th graders after teaching 1st. Oh, if you ever get to doing that Mary Kay product exchange, let me know so that I can give you my address and you can mail it to me or something. Keep in touch!
Hey you! I need your email address. I haven't gotten the internet hooked up at my home and facebook (as you know) is blocked at school!
THANK YOU SO MUCH for coming to my reception! It was great seeing you there and meant a lot to me!!! I will really miss you around here! Also, a BIG thanks for the wonderful Pampered Chef stone! I am SO excited to have it---I have always wanted one....but now I need some great ideas on what to cook on it...every time I have pulled it out I have thought---no wait, I don't want to ruin it!!! I know I am a dork! But since you cook WAY YUMMY things I thought I would have you send me some ideas---that way I can be brave and start using it! ;-)
Hope all is well with you....and your are settled in----email me your address to my yahoo account so we can keep in touch!
