My Obsession

Yes - I am official, Twilighter, TwilightMom or whatever you choose to call those of us obbsessed with Stephenie Meyer's books. However, I am among a smaller group of fans that chooses to be a HUGE fan of her character Jacob. Not that I have anything against Edward - other than his name perhaps (inside joke for some of you). I am so excited for the movie to come out and even more anxious for the next and final book in the series - Breaking Dawn. I took off to Borders to read the "extra" first chapter that was published in the Special Ediction of Eclipse last Saturday. A few Saturdays prior - I spent a very chilly early morning with my friend Christine waiting in line for Borders to open so that we could purchase her new book - The Host, which allowed us to also get a ticket to her signing at Thanksgiving Point. I have posted pictures from that exciting event. I was able to meet Stephenie Meyer's - though all too briefly while she signed several of my books for me! Soon my sister Natalie will be the very grateful recipient of a personally signed by Stephenie, copy of Twlight. She has not yet started reading and therefore not yet embarked upon her journey to discover who she will fall for - Edward or Jacob - or maybe even both! :) I can't wait for Natalie to be on the in with the rest of us!
