Our family had a great time on the 4th of July. We had a family get together up at my Grandma Price's in Midway. We had yummy BBQ Grilled chicken and dutch oven potatos, followed by everyone's favorite past time, sitting on Grandma Price's front porch. It was so fun to have all the "great grandkids" together, even the soon to be newest baby in Shanna's belly (we missed Jenny, Mike & Abby, Bryson (who's on a mission) Sarah and Wade - HEY - where was WADE?) Ce'Nedra had her first experience with sparklers and LOVED it and Acacia was a little afraid of the "sceaming" bottle rockets. After dinner, Natalie, Lindsay and I took a walk around the farm. I took some fun pictures, some of which I'll post in a later blog. We had fun hitting balls with the plastic softball bats and found out that Ce'Nedra has inherited her Mom's hitting skills passed down from Grandpa Bill. We missed Grandpa Bill too, but he was busy working at The Stadium of Fire (as a Miley Cyrus boyguard, no less)! As the night drew on, there was great anticipation for the Fire Work show, that would come from the Memorial Hill. The kids were getting settled and finding the perfect spot to see the show. Acacia decided to help herself to the cooler of drinks and I found her with a full size can of open Rootbeer. When I asked her who opened it for her, she answered, "The Farmer!" That caused quite the uproar in laughter as my uncle Lynn would be the most likely culpret. When Acacia was asked by Aunt Launie later in the evening why she called uncle Lynn "the farmer", she said, "Because he milks the cows - duh!" Well - it's SO true, don't you know! :) Enjoy the pics and yes, the first one is my Uncle Lynn - the Farmer!

That was fun. Kelly and I still laugh about "The Farmer"!
Holy crap! It's Christy Hooley! I don't know if you remember me (Casey). We had some classes together at UVSC several years ago (the one I remember for sure was Math for Teachers II with Dennis Allison as the professor).
Casey - of course I remember you! Didn't you also play drums in the band??? I know I still have the CD - where do you teach??! You need to invite me to your blog! Of course, Dennis Allison, he's on th UVU TV courses now!
