Twilight, the movie, finally was released. I considered for a moment about going to a midnight release during the early hours of Friday morning, but knew I would not be in any condition to teach school after only 2 hours of sleep!
There was a group of 12 of us who all met up. Tonya was our grand organizer and purchased all our tickets ahead of time. We went to dinner at a great Italian place, Biaggis first. This is where Allyson came out of her conservativeness and drank half her weight in diet coke. She has since informed us she was up until 3am because of it! We then headed over to the Theatre.
About half of our group were all connected because of Pampered Chef. We are obviously all Twilight lovers. I'm so grateful for all the fun women in my life! :)
The movie doesn't begin to cover everything from the book, but I think they did a great job. It was great driving home with the girls and discussing the differences. I was really glad we had a 45 minute drive together afterwards. It was fun sharing what we liked and didn't like. But most of us agreed that well...there was just some nice eye candy!! :)
I'm very excited to hear they have confirmed they are moving forward on the second book in the series. We have another movie to be excited about. Especially all those Jacob lovers out there, like me!! :) I'm a sucker for dark long haired guys!

I thought you'd get a kick out that - I figure why rewrite an entire blog when you said a lot of what I would anyway..hehe! :)
